Spotlight: Walt Disney

 We've heard it said that Walt Disney created his empire with a dream and a mouse, but he had to scale a rocky path to realize his dream. At age 22, he went bankrupt. In fact, he started a number of businesses that didn’t last long, and ended in bankruptcy. He was even fired by a newspaper editor because, "he lacked imagination and had no good ideas."

Setting criticism and failures aside, Disney believed in himself, and he never stopped trying. He continued to follow his dream. He said, "Somehow I can't believe there are any heights that can't be scaled by a man who knows the secret of making dreams come true. This special secret, it seems to me, can be summarized in four C's. They are Curiosity, Confidence, Courage, and Constancy, and the greatest of these is Confidence. When you believe a thing, believe it all the way, implicitly and unquestionably."
